HISTORY

In 1980, ten congregations saw a need to provide pastoral care to residents of area nursing homes and the Marathon County Jail. From this need, Greater Wausau Christian Services was born.

Today, many congregations now support GWCS financially and with volunteers working in the many programs created through GWCS.
